So while I think much of what AUSCgrad2016 is melting about can go into the bucket of AU just not being all that sharp yesterday, I do have an eye on how they handle ball pressure/initiate the offense moving into league play.

Pretty much, this is basically what always determines how good our offense will be with Bruce. When we play inside out and have Broome and Johnson kicking the ball out to the wings our offense is pretty unstoppable, if we are slinging up threes outside nonstop we are going to be more inconsistent. Chuma was our inside out guy during the beginning of the final four run, we need to make sure we work through Broome inside.

Ultimately our sloppiness in a game we were blowing out a team by 24 points is fairly meaningless. We need to tighten up, but whatever until it happens in a close game. We'll see how we look now that we are playing twice a week most of the rest of the way.

Really not concerned … yet … until we lose a winnable contest.

Last night we didn’t look like a top 15 team at all. Looked sloppy, too many mistakes and getting outrebounded by one of the worst rebounding teams in the conference. I’m sorry, can’t really get excited about beating a team we were projected to win by almost 20 points.

If a 20 pt win can be a learning experience. We'll go far.

Hahahaha, love the quote from Cardwell! Anyways, so many people downvoted me for my critique about our play Saturday and now Pearl has pointed out since that game that it wasn’t pretty and we need to especially work on not allowing so many offensive rebounds. I also heard that Pearl ripped the team after the game and I saw him upset towards the end of the game. Pearl knows the way we played Saturday will get us beat, especially on the road, in this league. So yea, glad we won but can’t play like that again or else it will be a loss.

We are about to booty blast Texas by about 25 points on their home court, just to prove a point…
