Obviously it depends on the size but a Yamaha F300 is about 35k.

That made me swallow my gum! I have waders and a self-propelled, one-person thing-a-ma-jig.

I can buy a used 4x4 Taco for that engine. I knew they were high, but color me shocked.

Alpine get you a 4th Gen 4Runner with the V8 4x4. You’ll pay half the price and have storage capabilities and can thank me later.

It is a business expense. Since I will start running inshore guide trips, I will count it aa a business tool. Just as I have my bass boats for the past 25 years

Total cost on that rig will be around 100K. I will add about 20K in electronics. And that is getting it at a deal straight from the manufacturer.

Boats are not cheap anymore. Kinda crazy....

Merry Christmas everyone.

I want to put any offer out to anyone that doesn’t know Jesus and wants to know just ask and I can help steer you in that direction.

Also if anyone wants to know more about Jesus as well I can give you an email address for me and we can find some things to discuss. I have studied the Bible for 20 plus years and ancient religions for about 10-12 years. If you have in depth questions concerning Christianity with other religions I might have some answers for you there.

I have a spread sheet I have been working on for a long time and have identified Noah, Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz in other ancient cultures and their names. The Acadians, Assyrian, Babylonian, Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Chinese, Mayan and others. Yes I know some are after but where their belief in all those cultures fake “trinity” comes in.

I say all that to say if you don’t know you’re a Christian and know you are going to heaven I will help anyway possible to help you know where you future is.

Another great resource for someone questioning Christ is "The Case for Christ." It's written by a journalist who was an atheist but came to know Christ thru his own investigation to disprove Christianity.

Maybe it'll answer some questions you have, in your own time, without having to engage anyone else.

Subject change--

Envious of the new boat Lanier. I think I'm too cheap to ever buy anything close. I work with a 3-4 guys with $60-90k bass boats. They're nice and the electronics are insane, but I bet I've pulled more bass in my 14' jonboat than all of their bass boats combined. I spent $2500 on the River Skank in 2008 and I bet I'm getting close to $2.50 a bass, money spent per fish. My mindset couldn't do a $100k boat, because I'd always be dividing by # of fish caught.

Hope your day was spent with good food, family, and friends. I was hoping Santa would bring me a new Goretex Drysuit, which is harder to find that a x-box, and equally as expensive until seeing Lanier's new toy. Guess he's been better than me this year!

Salty Dogs? I take it the lighter one on the left is for Captain Lanier.

They were excellent and it was not a salty dog. It was a girly grapefruit tangerine margarita.

We buy the premixed margaritas... Put in a shaker. Add some high end tequila. Usually silver.. Squeeze in some lime, add a small amount of agave and shake.

It is very refreshing and pretty strong... Not bad for a break from the straight stuff. The premixed stuff is not great alone. You need to doctor it up a little.

Wife loves them...

Start with this

Shake and serve. Great party drink
