2006-2012 were the mascot equivalent of Alabama's "Mike" years. But we suffered through and are enjoying a mascot dynasty.

Why do you want to decapitate aubie?
The reason is aubie is treated like a living breathing tiger. People that become aubie are called friends of aubie because the idea is he is a real character. Also I think the whole costume is attached but not sure I just know from buddy who used to do it is they confuse people sometimes because they always answer questions and inquiries like aubie is a real person who just happens to be our mascot lol

Aubie costume is all one piece and the head cannot be detached.

One of my buddies is a former Aubie. Those guys take it super serious. It's like they actually become Aubie when they suit up.
