They were wrong but Gus was absolutely considered a “QB Guru.”

Bo’s performance this year is what I expected. Did you bash the defenses that Willis played while at Liberty?
You brought it all up. You have no clue who is going to have the best career between Bo and Malik. And you have no clue whether Malik would’ve done better than Bo in 2019. Was Malik going to beat Georgia or dreamteam LSU or @the swamp? Bo ended up being the freshman player of the conference. You can’t bash Gus for picking Bo when Bo did have the talent
Malik left in May 2019, so it’s not like Bo and Malik battled much. The starting QB race at that point was wide open.

Willis 5-15 tonight at the end of regulation. Didn’t love the way Vrabel coached in the 3rd.

Malik started out like 4-6 or something and OP creamed himself at a chance at a Bo vs Malik thread. Wonder why he didn’t do it last week. Got out over his skis a bit

Vrabel has done pretty well as a former player but I question what the hell they’re doing at receiver. Their offense is sending football back to the 1970s meanwhile Mahomes has thrown it 60 times already and only has 17 points. Clash of crappy football.
