It’s not Gus vs Harsin.
Auburn's downfall began due to Gus’s inability to recruit and develop offensive linemen.
Auburn’s problems continue under Harsin due to his inability to recruit or bring in through the portal a competent offensive line.
The next coach’s success depends on his ability to bring in and develop an offensive line.
The QB won’t come unless the QB is convinced the OL will be adequate.

What is interesting about this continued Gus v Harsin juxtaposition is that when bad Malzahn showed up the narrative by the announcers never was “The line is getting pushed around” It was moreso “Gus’s playcalling is too predictable”
I believe Gus kept the line from looking so pathetic to the outsiders by the endless amount of WR screens.
