We are ranked in top ten so I assume we are really really good. Besides Tanner Burns, do we have any other aces on the team? What should we expect from our team?

If Burns and Jack Owen can stay healthy this season Auburn should have two of the best Friday/Saturday starters in the conference. I expect them to best in the upper half of the league and make another regional. Beyond that is pure luck, seeding.

Forgot about Jack Owen. I recall he missed the majority of last season. Hopefully we will have a freshman or two step in and give us a surprise

Is Bailey Horn expected to start this year? He had a good start against GTech in the regional last year.

No clue but with the pitching class we brought in the staff is expected to be very deep.

From what I have seen, yes. I look for our rotation to be Burns, Owen, Horn. All of our top freshman pitchers from last year are back as well.

I can't remember the name but supposedly 1 of the newcomers had a huge Fall on the mound.

We should have one of the top pitching staffs in the country this year. Mullens, Baker, and Reynolds should all make significant contributions.

Jamal - don’t you usually give an in depth breakdown of our team every year?

Wouldn't say in depth, but yes I try to highlight it some.

Will be posting the season thread in the next couple of weeks. Season starts in a little over a month. Schedule

Edit: I've been working on a NET like ranking system for college baseball this year.

Is the big kid who was our closer last year back? The red-headed kid who likes to hunt and fish? Forgot his name.

Cody Greenhill, yes he is back. There was some scuttle in the fall about him moving into the weekend rotation but I think that has been resolved.

I’m hearing there are a couple freshman that will be bringing a big stick to the plate as well. We should have a much stronger batting lineup
