Ok, I have 2 questions I never saw an answer on...

1. on the TD w/ 4th and 9, SHed Jackson said the play call was a fade throw? Now, it was a better distance to execute it from, but does Bobo only think that play works?
I was really pleased that FInley used QB thinking when he saw the DB jam Jackson, and the play may never be completed, so he pulled it back, and eventually looked for a more open WR.

2. I noticed that Shivers was in on that 4th and 9. Any reason why he should have been in there?
He's not their best blocker. It looked like he was never one of the options as he stayed in and tried to block.

3. Ok, so I have 3 questions. Was Tank in any of the plays inside the 50 yard line when Finley brought us back? It seemed like Shivers and Hunter were the only RBs being used, but I didn't go back to look at every play.

Someone can correct me but I didn’t see tank on our last drive at all. I don’t mind the call considering field position and there are options. Calling it right on the goal line against PSU had me furious though. We got extremely lucky to get out with a win over ga state as embarrassing as it is to say. On to the next.

I could be wrong on this, but I think there were only two possessions after Tank fumbled and I didn't see him back out there. Hunter started the final drive and as you said, Shivers finished it.

Likely means that his route was a fade, which is not shocking. Even on the goal line, having someone run a fade creates the opportunity for getting lost in coverage and at the very least removing a defender from the middle of the field where things can get very cluttered.

My guess is it was a combo of Hunter being tired and them trusting Shivers more in blitz pickup.

Nope, either because of not being 100% or just because he wasn't producing they put Tank on the bench too.

Thanks.

I did hear that Tank was operating at less that 100%. Something about his hip?

I do agree, the fade was a better option from the 9 than 4th and 2. And I did see Jackson had man coverage only.

I also wondered if Shivers was better at picking up blitzes, since Hunter is a true freshman and not been in there much at the end of games.

The fade is one OPTION, not necessarily the primary target. To his credit TJ did not throw the fade.

Tank and Bo are not 100%. Yes Bo's shoulder is bothering him, just like Tanks hip is bothering him. They should have both rested for that game.

We should have taken the lead on 3rd and 9. Wide open receiver.

Tank was not on the field after his fumble.

I thought they took Tank out because he fumbled, which is understandable. I didn’t know anything about a hip... interesting
