I’m not arguing overall that we’ve been elite. But for tonight, we clearly as a team just weren’t really into the game and that’s understandable. And Miles Kelly has been cold these last few games, but he’s a team player and it appears he’s bought in it seems. As for Jakhi, yes he’s young, but still, his body language is so obvious. He just needs to understand that he won’t be a top guy for this year. Needs to have Pettiford’s mindset, understand your role and contribute as much as possible when you are on the floor.

We started slow. The team was with their families this weekend where they should have been. We won by 30. We’ll 29

Yea, I understand that, being off for 9 days will sometimes make you rusty. I was just stating facts though about how we looked tonight. Shot 42% from the field and 27% from 3 is pretty meh and the defense was sporadic throughout the whole night. Again though, a lot of it probably had to do with the opponent and having a long time not playing. Can’t have that type of shooting though in conference play or that’ll be a loss more than likely. Great nonconference and now the real season begins Saturday.

We will shoot poorly sometimes. Law of averages. Been trying to teach scoper this for years

Oh yea, I understand that, played basketball for over 20 years, trust me, I know haha. But yea, we just had a poor shooting night. Hopefully we will be able to overcome these poor shooting nights more times than not though.

By all metrics, last night was the outlier and plenty of reasons why that was the case. Still put on a show in the second half. I understand the picking of nits but I don’t think anyone should be too concerned with last night

That’s true and again, it’s difficult to play great every game. I was just pointing out some issues that we had and how we didn’t look good last night, and the stats show that. I think this team is ready to play the conference games and last night showed they were done with the nonconference schedule haha

SECN+/ESPN+

For those that don’t have it ESPN+ subscription is well worth it

Don't you get those free usually with your tv service??

I think we get SEC+ and ESPN+ free with our Lumos account. Usually can log on to the apps using your tv service account.

I could be wrong though. It's happened before.

No doubt but this game was literally added for the expectation of that type of performance. Perfect buffer leading into conference play

Hulu espn + and Disney+ all come bundled together if you like.

I know a lot of sports folks like YouTube which I haven’t used.

ESPN+ is a must so I went with the bundle package because of so much UFC on espn+

Yea, whoever made our nonconference schedule did a great job with how spread out our easy games vs tough games were. Besides the Maui Invitational Tournament, all of our other tough games were sandwiched with some easy games.

Our last 6 games in conference are brutal or possibly brutal as it stands today

YouTube tv is fantastic. Service is great.

However, it’s starting to get expensive. Like all the services.

Yea, our conference schedule is tough but we actually have it much easier than it could be. Play UF and UT at home and only once.

Yeah, we actually got an easier schedule than Tenn, Bama, and Kentucky in terms of who plays who, 1 less game against the top teams.
