Don’t be shocked if Bashir hits the portal after this year. Bruce talked to him some during the game and stopped him for a chat in the handshake line.

Yeah, Bruce had a quick talk with him. He's a sophomore.

He’s been solidmthis year but hopefully If this season goes right we are pulling power 4 players.
Either way I trust Bruce

Curious to see if Bruce changes course on that if the season plays out like we hope it does. He’s said he prefers the guys who are successful from smaller schools over the higher ranked guys who are leaving a good team.

I don’t think Pegues is gonna get very many more chances.
He was tentative even when everyone was just chunking up 3s. Played 5 minutes. Dude is done. Only an emergency player now.

That was an uninspiring performance, but at least we won. One of our worst shooting nights of the year and the team just didn’t seem interested and it showed. Miles Kelly continues to be in a shooting slump and Jakhi need to have an attitude adjustment. He seems mad all of the time and aloof whenever he doesn’t get the ball. He’s a freak of an athlete and can really help us, just needs to understand his role. Now, the real season begins Saturday.

Miles is doing everything possible to contribute to the teams he isn’t great at defending but he’s all effort and bought in. Love him driving to the basket more because he’s been finishing at the rim. Plus he’s still shooting a good average with a hurt wrist that may or may not get better over the season. No clue the extent of the injury.
Howard is a stud that is playing hard. He actually is a better shooter than I was expecting this season. He’s young. He may or may not be immature. All we see is facial expressions. He’s not pouting like early in the season. He’s disappointed to easily. That’s what I see. He wants a monster game where everyone is talking about him. Might I add he’s still extremely young for this team especially. He’s getting great advice from coaches and teammates. He’s learning how to play winning basketball. It’s up to him to accept that and appears he has made huge adjustments to that from the first couple of games.
Statically since they have kept up with such things Auburn’s offense is the most efficient offense ever. Like ever ever. I think even with this gauntlet of conference teams our defensive efficiency continues to climb and we are sitting at 9 now.
Just stay healthy, hungry, and humble.
