Plus they have a marina where I can keep my boat and not have to trailer it.

That would clinch it for me.

Big time helps with me planning on doing 3 days a week guiding. Will make things so easy with the traffic situation around there....

Got my 3rd double today. 24 bass, 90% small spots w/ a couple of LM and Shoalies.
If I had some Spot Sticker Baits, I'd probably emptied the river.

Any of y'all hunt? Turkey season was essentially cancelled for me, pissed me off greatly. So I've been playing with my bow set up. New strings and cables, heavier arrows. Playing with my FOC right now to see how heavy I want to go.

I love dove hunting and squirrel hunting. I used to go all the time with the kids, but now that they are out of the house, I don't go any more. I recently bought a little jon boat to fix up. I hope to take it deer hunting this season. A buddy of mine and I have deer hunted some water access only places for years. It'll be nice to have a dedicated boat to do that with.

I spend most of my time fishing. My wife likes going and with the kids gone it's easy for us to go. Nothing like drinking beer all day on the river and smoking them on topwater. Get tired or hot? Stop and get in the river. Pack a lunch, take the dog. We rarely see anyone else and they almost never are fishing.

Lanier! You need to come throw one of your 1/8 ox buzzbaits over here in the summer. The water goes down and the flow slows. These spots get up in the water column and relate to these laydowns in the river. My wife has caught some 4 & 5+ spots on buzzbaits with a rod I had built for her. Might as well be catching a damn Marlin the way they drag a canoe around.

Little dude looked and acted like a badass. He destroyed one of your buzzbaits like it was the last thing he was ever gonna do.

Tonight, I had my first instance of wanting to punch another parent in the face. I didn't, but I haven't entirely ruled it out yet.

More than likely heading to the mountains in WV tomorrow. Hopefully we do, because im still feeling a little hostile

Alright, spill it. And let’s decide on a Sonic so we properly strategize

Our fish are coming off the spawn here and they are seriously beat up. Had a trip yesterday and every fish we caught looked like it had been run through a blender. Bloody and all scared up. I am glad I dont look like that after sex. I just pass out.

On another note, my client yesterday was pretty cool. If you know a kid singer named Shawn Mendes? I actually had never heard of him but I guess he is a big deal for these young people these day. I had his personal bodyguard and head of security on the boat. Great guy and he has worked for some cool bands in his days.

I listented to some of it last night. Not my style but I can see how younger kids would like it. Kinda boy bandish...

The guy I took is his personal body guard. Flies every where with him. He had some killer stories. He also worked with Marilyn Manson for a while . I told him that was a damn swing of job duties.

Well, did he know how to fish at all? That's the important thing.
