Mason had a chance to sign a legal document stating what was said. Naturally, like Fraternity, coaching is a close family. Mason refused to sign the paper....... quietly left. Bobo there after. Word naturally leaked to the players.... the exodus was on...

I agree with 2010 in that there are some more very quiet issues regarding Harsin family members. I believe Auburn will use such as negotiating tool and lime Bowden quietly leave. I think he has no choice.

It was related to the OC/DC mtg Harsin called shortly after the IB. Subject was recruiting and Harsin stated he wanted blue blood country boys and not intercity thugs... or at least implied it.
Mason naturally went off. Took it quietly up to the next level
and that started the school looking.

I started commenting on here because of all the bullshite that the Trustees were getting from those that simply have no clue.
The board loves Auburn and has and continues to give millions and continue to do so. They care. They know the mistakes, who made them, including administration and they are trying to clean it up. They know where the program is and how important of a hire this is and that is MY rightful opinion.
If I had to place money......
It is Freeze unless someone internally stops it.
OC - Matt Luke, Neal Brown or Kent Austin
Freeze would bring Maurice Harris with him from Liberty and retain both Auburn men currently on staff.
DC- Charles Kelly.
Freeze would have Auburn right back in the thick of things and would be a man on a mission and win right away.
Little known secret...
When Freeze was canned at Ole Miss, Saban wanted him as OC but the SEC office would not allow it. There's your proof on Freeze and his ability.
Grimes would be my second wager if Freeze is blocked internally.
Both are a win.
Educate yourself about Freeze and what went down at Ole Miss. the New Orleans Time Picayune and Jackson Clarion has excellent detailed articles.

I just don't see the sustained success in his past outside of a bought class and Malik Willis. .600 at Liberty, before yesterday.
