For whatever reason, I think we turned down Birmingham Bowl in 1978.
I’m not sure how we did not go to a bowl in 1979 unless there was some nonsense probation.

We got folks on here carrying water for sorry arse Hugh Freeze but they want to disrespect the greatest basketball coach in the history of our program.

And I agree with that. But I’m going to choose to go with what Bruce thinks is best because he’s been very right in his tenure at Auburn. Right to 2 Final Fours.

Fine. At least somebody is going to sleep peacefully tonight. I will be lying awake worrying about a mass exodus of our best players through the transfer portal.

The timing is terrible for they because they’re all enrolled. They’d have to wait until spring to play.

Pearl is gone. Not even a fair comparison and not every view is accurately represented as insanity. What you want is just as insane as a reasonable search for the best successor. I care more about Auburn than Pearl's pride.
