Issue with Bo starting

If Bo starts tonight and starts doing badly (I don't wish it on him), but it will be a very bad look if they have to bench and put TJ in again to save the game.

Yeah especially if TJ really does save the day. Meaning, he leads us to our first win over LSU in BR this millennium

IMO if Nix is pulled tonight he is finished as a starter at Auburn.

Regardless, hypothetically this is less awkward than pulling Finley and then putting the originally pulled QB back in.

This is why a QB controversy are so disruptive to a team.
If it goes bad tonight with the QBs, it will kill what hope we have left in the season.

True, but logically you have to start Bo and put in TJ if he fails. The reverse just means you have 2 second stringers. (that's probably the case anyway)

The coaches are probably more comfortable with Bo especially on the road against TJ’s former team and all those emotions. Bo I’m sure is more familiar with checks and audibles.
