The auburn uniform site says otherwise. Says the program had a picture of us in the orange uniforms, but that was from the Miss state game the prior year.
I don't know either way, I wasn't alive for it.

I don’t like uniform tricks.
Plus everything has become too cluttered looking with all the patches and stuff on the helmets.

I don't get all of this one off uniform thing people want to see. The way I see it.........why mess with perfection?

Personally, I love the subtle tweaks and touches and experimentation with some of the most classic and appreciated uniforms in the States. God, I am the exact opposite of Oregon. I would NEVER play in any kind of different roll out uniform every week. To each his own, I guess. I like that CBH and staff are harkening back to different days, uniforms and all. I still want to know which people he brings in for pump up pregame speeches? For Ole Miss, I would ask Coach Zac Etheridge for this game. Chucky Mullins and all and what Zac has come through. Played in tons of important SEC games. Any other beter ideas? Of course we can never go wrong with Bo, Frank Thomas, Cam, Suni (and Simone together. why not?) and so many others. If I were talented and young enough, I would never go to Orgeron because there is no "classic uniform". Everything is all throwback now that no one really cares about. Their tradition of no tradition. Just my cool take.
ETA uo has one of my very favorite cheerleading squads in college football. I'd rather Nike experiment with those uniforms. I would tune in to late night (time is all fricked up here anyway) west coast football to check out the cheerleaders "uniform" each week. uo cheerleaders can make Simon stir and wake up. Other than that, I don't care much for uo.They are always welcome to a good old fashioned SEC arse whippin'.
