Any idea why we aren't giving Ian Jackson a look?
We are recruiting him per the connecteds on the bunker. However it looks like we have other LBs higher on the board.

Not sure. I was so busy working last weekend I never got to really see a visitor's list.

He was on KN’s expected visitor list. I don’t know if he made it or not. I assume he did

Since I’m unbanned now, I can finally bring a little info to the thread.

Per Ian Jackson’s (Prattville, AL) uncle, his room is decked out in Auburn gear. His mother went to Auburn and his sister currently attends Auburn (she’s also trying out for the cheerleading squad next year). I’ve been told he’s all Auburn and will only take visits to enjoy the recruiting process. The kid is a huge Auburn fans and it’ll be hard to sway him to another college. Surprisingly enough, Troy is recruiting him the hardest and most often. I’ve been told his second team at this point is LSU, possibly because of the recent success.

I didn’t follow his recruitment.

ETA: I would actually have to search his name just to know what position/class he was in.

That said, we will have a new coach by Dec 2020.

Hmm. Maybe 24 was just trying to blame the dead poster. Wanya was a pretty big deal. 5* OT that chose Tennessee over us.

I don’t follow recruiting too closely anymore, other than what I scarcely read in here.

I only brought the Ian Jackson info in here because I see his uncle every day. Good family.

Hopefully we can bring Jackson in the fold. Apparently Saban is sweet talking him too so he’s obviously a good player.

Auburn Softball got run ruled today. It’s a brand new start ladies and gentlemen.

That was a really exciting two years when our softball team was good. Might be a long time before we get back to that again

Dean had a grace period given the shite he inherited. That time is running out on him.

Time for Jamal to make a thread also.

This was actually well before Wanya Morris. A few cycles at least. Someone (who I thought was TTs) was very bullish on a certain DT signing with AU and when they didn't it broke them

Do we have any shot with Brandon Campbell the RB out of texas?

Alabama is telling him he can start from day 1, from what I’ve been told. I’m skeptical. His uncle said his immediate family is steering him away from Alabama.

Landing the #4 class in the nation for 2020 (next season in softball) probably has extended that grace period.

Fong is predicting our two big OT recruits elsewhere. Brockermeyers to Bama. Mims to Georgia.

Brockermeyers elsewhere isn’t surprising to me. Really feels like a long shot.

I don’t feel entitled to 5* guys with how things have been going on the OL but Mims to Georgia would suck

Micah Morris, Terrance Ferguson, and Caleb Johnson would be my priority targets. We need to get Caleb Johnson ASAP. He’s been offered by Bama, Mizzou, and Tennessee in the last week alone

He's been all UGA from the start.

Brockermeyer potentially going to bama is what sucks.

We really, really need to get at least two of these.

There are rumors that Mims has been all Georgia for a while.

I’m disappointed if bama gets Brockermeyer. Would’ve been ok if Texas or Clemson got him.

I never thought we’d get either.
