That's because we havent had a true DTQB since Nick Marshall.

FWIW JHead from the bunker says QBs to watch moving forward would be Miller Moss, Dematrius Davis (VT), & Will Crowder. Also says what Jones has been telling us. He thinks Crowder ends up at AU as a 2nd QB in the class but he’s not the primary target.

Julian Nixon, tall 4* WR from Georgia calls us the favorite according to Rivals. He has been CBd to Auburn for a while on 247.
Interestingly he says Morris told him we will pass more. His words : “ they are going to throw first typically.”
He went on to say he liked Bo Nix and was building a bond with McLaughlin...

#1 rated S on Rivals , Corey Collier, says he loved the visit last weekend and will visit Auburn “a lot.” He says his HC loves Auburn so that actually might be a recruitment that could pay off. Don’t know who the head ball coach is at Miami Palmetto, but keep doing the Lord’s work.

LSU switched from a run first offense and just went 15-0. You have to be able to pass the ball more than a 3rd and long bomb down the sideline.

Ty Keyes is a DT QB that was just recently CBd to Mississippi State. Can’t we just swap McLaughlin to Leach for Keyes?

None of those QB’s offer list comes close to Aaron McLaughlin’s offer list. If it’s a mutual, or Gus and chad told him no thanks, then its confusing.

Not an ideal time to be looking for a QB (could be a lot worse, still) but I’m not too torn up about McLaughlin
Why is that?
I figured Morris can work with anyone of QBs with his offense(especially if he is passing more).
I hope we feel good we can get an equal of better QB committed. We had a good one committed, and now we have to try to find another.
I worry...Morris is still an unknown to me in recruiting successes.

OK...thats 1.
Also, It will be interesting how our OL recruiting will look w/ better offensive coaches like Morris and Bicknell at the helm.
I hope they can bring in guys like the Brockermeyer twins, and other 4-5* Offensive Linemen will start a better trend for us.

I will say this. Aaron has a weird release. And without looking up the stats, I think he is INT prone. If we are transitioning to a pass O, then it maybe a good move.

Look back at the National Champions in the past 15 years.
How bout listing all the "Pass first" teams on that list
I will be waiting over here waiting for the handoff
Running the ball works

Please put the full press on D Davis, trade him for McLaughlin all day.
