Not in excess, 4 AM is gonna come early. Last day of turkey season and these birds have been kicking my arse. Where I'm at is archery only. Could have tagged out by now if I could use a shotgun, like a God intended.

Excess overload here. Spent all week battling colonial pipeline outages. Been 24/7 since last Friday. Phone is on silent till about 5 am tomorrow and vodka has been flowing. Every crisis creates an opportunity.

Man I have had some good times at Wind Creek back in the day. Have not been there in many years. Back in the late 80's early 90's, I was in a small fishing club after I graduated high school. We would have a tournament there in October every year and I would go over and camp for a week. Love that lake and had some good times there. Wife and I use to go over and camp for a week and just chill
Have fun at the party. Enjoy your son. Those small things seem like work now but later, you will be glad you did them.....

Never been to Wind Creek. I need to go.
Been going to Oak Mtn a lot. I'm convinced this place has been fished to hell. A year ago I caught a few out here but nothing lately even biting.
Love the park itself though.

Wife caught a very nice 3.75lb spot on your 1/8 oz buzzbait yesterday. More fun than should be legal on a little 5'6" spinning rod in moving water from a canoe.
I had one a little bigger, but I was throwing a little Zman toad.

Man, that's pretty. I'd love to fish there. I lived close to the Cahaba in elementary school, never fished it.

I've caught some good fish this year. Biggest was a 7 lb LM at Lay Lake during a club tourney. Won a bunch of money that day.

These river fish hit a topwater bait like it’s the last thing they will ever do. Any spot over a pound is dragging you around.
