Great way to make memories. I used to love fishing with my grandfather.

I appreciate that but I think we are just fine. My shop is very close to the coast near Anna Maria Island but we should get some rain there and maybe some 50mph winds. It is upstairs and a old concrete building. I think it will be fine there. Im going by and seal the door up today. The weatherstripping is not great and if wind blows rain at the door, it will come under.

My house is a few miles inland and should be just fine. Nothing like the 100 mph winds we got with Ian.

Thanks and hope all the people up in the arm pit will be fine.

88 is right down the street from my shop and I think both of our places will be fine.

I still have PTSD from the Tropical Update music on the weather channel. Staying up to see the 11 PM update and waking up to see the 2 AM update, all with that damn music. I miss the coast, don't miss evacuating, the unknown, and the clean up.

Good luck to y'all.

Had a great day out in the gulf yesterday with the wife (tool old for most of yall). We did a little fishing then hit our favorite sand bar area and chilled out all day. Water was crystal clear green and water was just cool enough to be perfect

Then at about 4pm, the sky got mad at us

I am not exactly sure where you are but if you are near Charleston, you may have well just bend over and spread your cheeks.

Its going to be big and its going to be raw

I heard possible rainfalls of 24-30". WE got 16" at my house and ive never seen that much water in a 24 hour period. Most water ever in Sarasota over a 24 hour period

I think our rate of precip will be lower per day but the damn thing is going to hang out for a bit.

We’re well stocked up. Have a gas line, some tanks, a ton of beer and ice and nothing to do

Hoping the best for you. We had a pretty good scare with our pond and street in the front. Water filled the pond almost up to our pool and the street stopped draining to the pond because it was full and started to back up to the front of the house/. We are getting a few showers now and its suppose to go from midnight to noon tomorrow then we may be done. I think we are going to be fine

I do have a roof leak that is leaking on my sheetrock in the garage but that can be taken care of.

Heading over to the shop tomorrow and getting my arse back to work. Need to get some orders processed. I have a little vacation coming up and want to get the orders out.

Our little "grove" of Florida just got hammered by this thing. The outer bands were right over us for a full day. They hit us from South going North and just stayed on top of us for hours and hours at a time.

Our problem down in the low country is getting the water to drain anywhere we want it to go. I'm in a few hour break between waves and hooooo boy it's going to be wet in Savannah

Yep no problems for me. Some debris in neighbor's yards. Otherwise no issues. Some friends on the island had flooding and some friends out east has some issues.

I rode out to the shop this morning just to look around and it was not that bad out there by you. Hwy 70 from 301 to Lakewood Ranch however was totally flooded everywhere. I went to 33rd st to check on my boat and most of the roads were inpassable. Was crazy amount of water and big difference from Cortez

Glad you had no issues.

Jones, you get any water out of that thing?

A lot but it was manageable

Buckets and buckets between Monday and Tuesday. Today, we had a very heavy mist all day that I’ve never experienced before. Alternated between that and bands of downpour

Yall done with it? Glad it got its arse out of here. Thing was just mad at us

Back out on my afternoon walk yesterday and today. Not having to dodge small ponds anymore. The majority of the water has found somewhere to go thankfully

Part of our infrastructure problems. The Grift is strong in our county. Anyway a brand new section of Lakewood ranch flooded due to the poor infrastructure that they just put in that new development.

I usually don't have any problems as my house is higher than most around me.
