Have not tried that one. I had a couple vodka drinks earlier. Listening to some tunes right now. Wife just headed to work. Im home alone and unsupervised.
Probably hit the lanai a little later and have some Woodford or break out the new bottle of Blantons on this Fathers day eve

Happy Father’s Day Spots 
Gonna run to the beach tomorrow and hang out there until the fam arrive. Water is perfect swimming temperature for a few more weeks so I’m trying to take advantage of it

I am actually taking the day off. Wife is working tonight so she will sleep all day tomorrow. I will probably do a few errands around here and spend some itme in the pool. Possibly rest some if I can actually do that. Im not good at that
Probably going to be a drinking night tonight. Missing people who have passed today a lot. Its a thing that never goes away no matter how hard I try. I am pretty good at surpressing it but sometimes, I just cant help myself.

I’ve understood this more as I’ve gotten older. Not
necessarily in relation to Father’s Day. But most others

I am fortunate enough to still have both my parents. My wife has lost both of hers. I think about that a lot.
But no parent shoot have to bury their 30 year old child. There should be no reason for that. Not a perfectly healthy young lady.

Mine are still alive and doing fairly well for being 80 years old. The important stuff has not changed. They love God, family, country, and Auburn. Dad wears a shirt that says "Proud Dad who didn't raise liberals." I hope all Auburn dads have a safe and happy Fathers Day!

lost my dad in 2018, miss him every day
my kid helped organize a neighborhood Jimmy Buffet party tonight - cheeseburgers on the grill, margaritas, Landshark beer, key lime pie, had a great time
got some surprise planned for me tomorrow, looking forward to it

Highly approve. Went to Tampa to see Kenny Chesney/ Zac Brown last month. Zac did a tribute to Jimmy. Man that was amazing but hard to get through.
I’m not sure any “celebrity” death has ever hit me like his. I honestly believe it made me think about things. I am not a sentimental person but I had a tough time with that one. Still do.
It was a lovely cruise.

Congrats! Just remember if one kid is 1X effort, 2 kids is 4X and so on 
but it will be a lot of fun though especially on road trips and the like.
My parents are still alive in the 80s but wife lost her mom when she was 9 and dad when she was 25 so I don’t take mine for granted. Happy Fathers’ Day to everyone!

Yea I’m really stressing about the nights when it’s me vs 2 of them lol. But hopefully those will be few and far between. Our 2 year old is really good and easy for the most part thankfully

Congrats! The jump from one to two was the hardest. From two to three was nothing.

My 10 year old girl has been a great playmate for my 8 year old girl! And the youngin will develop so much faster. Those two turn my heart into mush. You are in for a ride!

Fished Flint Creek off Wheeler this Sat out of the canoe. Total shitshow of downed trees and brutal heat. Wife was a total trooper. Drank beer, went to dinner, ate brunch, and went to the Elite series weigh in. Dinner tonight with my kids and the grand kid. Good weekend.
