You basically can’t get rid of TVs now so I just mounted one we’d otherwise try to give away. Our covered patio isn’t super conducive for a TV or else I’d take that path

Noted on the traeger. Probably where im headed

The purist will tell you to get a ceramic and control the air flow with your mind power but man that pellet grill is so much easier. LOL

It basically works like a oven. Set the temp and be done with it. I honestly think my ribs are way better on there because of better temp control through the 5 hours of cooking

I didn't get the largest but have the RT-590. It arrived with a bent lid and the customer service was excellent. I used a vice to straighten out the part but Recteq offered to send me a replacement or add accessories for free. I dropped the ball and never requested the additional accessories but the response from the company was spot on.

The cooks and operation have been perfect.

I've got a Big Green Egg and I love it. I know the pellet smokers offer less work, but I do feel like the egg is more versatile. If you like the process, the ritual, the beer, the fire, the testosterone, get the egg/ceramic.

If you want to cook easy, like a woman in a kitchen, get the pellet and enjoy your soy-non-alcohol-IPA, while digging through your purse, looking for your nuts.
