Finally getting the holes in my house fixed today from the hurricane. It will be buttoned up before the end of the day. I still know people who have lost everything and are trying to rebuild. We have been fortunate.

Damn, I thought you had gotten that taken care of a few months back. I know it will be nice to be finished with that.

Most of our contractor contacts were busy taking care of people with mold. I am having the whole side of my house (attic to roof line) replaced as that part blew out due to over 100mph winds. I had to climb up and bend siding back and install plastic to cover up the holes using nails & tape.

There is a person close to us just off 75th that had a large tree basically divide their house in 2. Every time I drive by I swear it looks like it is caving in on itself. We still have areas where the tree pickup hasn't happened.

I forgot how many metric tons of waste (organic & inorganic) that the county has said it has picked up. It was extremely large.

Recent beach pic.

When you're thinking: And all them mountains flowed down hill and simply became a beach.

This place was teaming with all sorts of critter tracks and pretty near pristine. We're in Perdido Bay and location is in the title. Just a couple of old guys doing old guy things...I'm behind the camera. We're about 5 miles into a unplanned 9 mile walk and not a water bottle between us. T'was but a mere stop along the road in the pursuit of (cheap) Fla tequila.

Nice. Looks like a crazy place. Just remember that in Florida, there is always something out there trying to kill you. Gator, shark, python, meth head, etc. Be aware.

Heading off shore tomorrow to try and catch some hog fish. Need some fillets for New Years. Going to sear some fillets and make some scallops to go with them......

Not a bad day out there today. Headed out of Tampa Bay this morning in search of HogFish and Mangroves. Caught some big Hogs and some massive Mangrove Snapper. I also caught a big Triple Tail on the way back in. Saw him floating on a Buoy that we rode by. Turned around an I fired a swimbait on him and he ate it. Nice little bonus on the way back in

Just my share. We always split whatever we catch. Will be cleaning fish tomorrow then cooking some fillets on the flat top tomorrow night

Surfs up here in N. Alabama and it's looking like a good day to get wet.

Learn me on hogs head... is that like a snapper with an attitude?

Hogfish stay around the reefs. They eat shrimp, crabs and I think urchins. They use that long nose to root around in the corral to get crustaceans.

They are all born female and some turn male as they get bigger. Once they turn male, the nose gets a big bump shape.

The only thing they usually eat is shrimp. We dont really have big reefs here. Just active/ bumpy bottom. They stay around those places. The ones we caught were in 50-75 feet of water, right on the bottom.

They are white flaky meat. Very good eating. They fight good for a 15"-24" fish. keepers here are min 14". 5 per angler

Happy New Year’s Eve, folks

Boring night in the household. Kiddo is down at 7:30. I worked this morning and am going out in a boat tomorrow to help with oysters so I won’t be up long

Yes, that

My son has been sick (usual toddler stuff) so we’re exhausted after trying to keep him entertained while traveling, Seeing family, etc. Can’t complain too much

Gonna avoid most of this cold weather sweeping the country

Don’t like this that much. You can’t preach about staying humble and post this from the official account.

I don't see it that way. I see it more as hey we love our fans and they travel, will take over your gym if your peeps are willing to sell them tickets...that is how I see it. I don't see it talking up their team but talking up our fans. If I am wrong so be it.

Should try it while the experience is fervored red hot fun.

They make every game interesting.

But probably not, flu today, big pot of lintels...skinny Conecuh sausage, ham, country style ribs... definitely not kosher.

Up at 4:30, Went to work for about 4 hours, Brought breakfast home, took down all the outside Christmas decorations, packed them up and organized my garage (Its my favorite thing to work on), took 18" of water out of the pool and replaced it with new water, about to shower and watch the round ball game/NFL game

Cooking some scallops and fresh snapper on the flat top tonight and having some cocktails in the cold as Florida winter. WTF is going on . Trying to decide if I need to bring my lemon tree inside since we are forecasted to get two weeks of total shite weather here.

Hope you degenerates are having a good weekend.

I have been watching the game. Got up when I heard dad tell "Get off my grass." Turned out he was yelling at a deer. I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend
