Yup. Still have a few miscellaneous boxes in closets, but that's how it goes

My FIL was from Sarasota. Really nice area. I’ll come stay with you randomly. You’re welcome

Anytime...

This is our prime area. We have been looking for a while but not really found exactly what we want. We very well could and probably will but we added a second area search to see what we could find

This is the new search area. West of 75th st. We possibly could buy a home here, if we can find what my wife wants, and also buy a condo on the island. That is the new plan that has been making its way around the house for a few weeks.

It’s so good. I rotate between several but it’s one that I always keep around.

Rained for several hours here with small hail mixed in. Really strong storms. Pretty rare for Denver.

We had some decent flooding around town

Got some Very Old Barton and ginger ale tonight watching UFC on ESPN while sitting by a fire pit. frick Greg Hardy. I was hoping to see him get his head caved in.

ETA: Also raining hard around me near Nashville, but I'm covered and happy.

Didnt partake last night. Had one glass of wine with the wife while looking at houses

Just got back from the depot. Had a dryer go out on us a week or so ago and will nave a new washer and dryer delivered tomorrow. So, wife decides we need to paint the utility room and put a brand new floor in. So today, thats what I will be doing all day. Plus, new shelving unit and some hanging thingys.

This started out not wanting to put $400 into a 15 year old dryer. Its turning into a $3000 pain in my arse. Should have just fixed the damn thing

No. I should have just had it fixed and not even made a big deal about it. You get yourself into these things and you somehow forget about the last time. This is why men are not as smart as women

Plus, I have a huge yellow jackets next in my front flower bed that I have to contend with. I used one full can of spray on them yesterday and a half can on them this morning. Dont even seem like they care. Hundreds of them coming out of there. They ate the yard dudes arse up yesterday.

Had to fix my dryer a few weeks ago. Never realized how simple of a machine it is until I pulled off the top cover

What flooring are you installing today?

For those of you that don’t frequent the Rant often, here’s a great story from our very own GusAU about his dad and his ‘57 NC ring

Just some floating grooved vinyl tile stuff

I have 5" hardwood in the rest of the floor but this little utility room has linoleum in it. Didnt want the hard wood in there in case it got wet. The stuff I am putting down will be better than that and look a little better. Room is only 8x8 so it was cheap and should be easy to do. Even for a fisherman

The main board on my dryer fried. It was going to cost $400-$500 so I didnt want to fix it. Bought new Samsung stuff. It was time. I had fixed that dryer myself a few times and the washer was on its last leg as well.

Word to the wise about that floating floor stuff is to buy every tool they recommend. I've put in thousands of SF of that stuff by myself and the extra few specialty tools make a huge difference.

Yea, I watched a video last night about it and I thought the same. I may need to run and get a few things before I start. I have a jigsaw / rubber mallet /circular saw but no spacers or striking plate. May need that .
