Well the refs screwed us twice. I’d be more interested in melting about that. I’ve seen several coaches call for victory formation at that location and have no problem with the call.

Gus plays pussy ball.

Auburn plays pussy ball now.

Play the game.

Not this game.

Gatewood was robbed of a TD, but giving a mercy knee was the right thing beyond Tolbert trying a second time.. Although, I wouldn't have complained had he gone for it either.

Coulda walked it in and the refs would’ve called someone down. Gatewood and Tolbert both got it in and they didn’t give it to them.

I thought Tolbert was in. Didn't see Gatewood. Anyone got replay video?

You’re a loser. Something nice and subtle about taking a knee at the 1. I knew people would complain about something. Up 56-7 at halftime and here we go.

Disagree.

It was clear to God and everybody that AU could have scored 80 today if Stidham and the starters stay in. Purdue had lost the game. The game is meaningless and it was clear that AU could have scored from the 1 foot line on 2nd down at will. Why not show some sportsmanship?

I sort of hate that Tyler Trent got to see his team get the crap kicked out of them in what is probably the last Purdue game of his life. A little class at the end to not make Purdue the butt of an ignominious record is the least AU could do.

let the senior RB get in the end zone.

Just like I would suggest letting the walk-on’s Shoot 3’s at the end of b-ball games

It can be argued it reflects Gus' good nature which at times shows itself as softness in the teams play.

It shows not being a prick. 99.9% of HC's would have done the exact same thing. Seriously, haven't you absolutely humiliated your opponent enough?

You fricks crack me up.

Gotta admit, the last thing I thought we'd be arguing about today is whether or not Gustav should have let our 3rd string offense score our 10th TD at the end of the game

We win 70-14 and this is what you start a thread about. I’m sure you’ve always been the life of the party

It seemed like the more we scored, the more comfortable our players and coaches got. A great coach wouldn’t be looking at the scoreboard, but instead would be trying to play hard for 60 minutes. But Gus is a settler.

AU set a bowl record for points scored in a first half... then came out in the 3rd and forced a punt... then immediately took the ball and scored a TD.

You literally can’t be this retarded.

Taking out the kneel down at the end of the half with 10 seconds left (up 56-7), Auburn scored a TD on 8 straight possessions.

When you are trying to spin this into a negative, its you that has a problem, and not what you're criticizing.

Do you actually enjoy any part of Auburn football?

I’m actually amazed at this place. I’ve been as critical as anyone about Gus this year, but what we saw today was a damn masterpiece.

This is some of the dumbest things I’ve ever read on this board and that’s saying a lot.

Pretty sure that if this place was around in Jan 2011, people would’ve bitched about squeaking by Oregon.
