Does anyone else wonder this?
Not that playing in the title game and possibly winning the NIT is the highest honor.
BUT
He missed out on weeks of basketball with his teammates.
He missed out on an awesome road trip to play in a historic basketball arena.
He missed out on developing his skills a bit more.
He missed out on demonstrating that he has a spirit that is reselient. (Which is needed in the NBA)
Just curious on a random weekday.

He's not playing in the NBA and obviously none of that other stuff matters to him or he wouldn't have quit in the first place so i doubt he cares

I’m surprised we haven’t heard news of him signing some overseas basketball contract. I thought that would be the reason he didn’t play.

Hopefully that he was a weak link and that being a quitting loser never pays off.

It's wild because he was one of the few guys I liked all year. Felt he consistently brought positive energy & leadership, always brought effort even if he was a bit underwhelming defensively.

Amen!
In a way, I think it’s crappy when the JV players say their season is over when Varsity is still suiting up
Immature on Murphy, especially when he gave us so much praise and said he owed everything to the University

He's just another paid employee athlete that came through Auburn.
Don't think too much about him. He's completely forgettable.
