Nah, I don't hate Auburn at all, only pretending to this week on tRant and doing a predictably shitty job of it
Can't recall seeing a NASCAR stock car decked out in a collegiate logo before. I'll admit, I'm jelly
Although I will grant that if they'd made the base color navy or orange, they'd have knocked it out the park. Should be a good race this weekend, too.

MWR/Aaron's has done a BCSNC car at Dega April race the past 4 year (3 honoring the Bama, 1 Auburn)
Also, in 2004, there was a student at Auburn that drove a few ARCA races, including one at Atlanta, and his car was all Auburn. They even made some diecasts of it.

Hell, he might up and win the thing. Like you said, he's a good plate racer. And so much of those races is really about being in the right place at the right time.
If I had a dollar for every time Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson had a great car get tore up at Dega or Daytona through no fault of their own.....

Yup. Some of the all time best plate races I've ever watched were JG vs. Jr. when Junebug was with DEI
I've mellowed on my Jr. hate since he joined Hendrick and has struggled. I'd actually like to see him do well

You should like him by now. It's no coincidense that when Jr. came to Hendrick, JJ started finishing plate races then won a few. Jr needs a win bad this week...I imagine Stevie is going to go balls out with his engine. Finish 1st or detonate it
