I feel like this is a conversation to worry about in 2 weeks.

They've reduced the season to a number if it's over meaningless teams

Instead of rejoicing about those 7 wins, of who they're over, it's near meaningless without some type of championship. Wins over seven of our closest rivals use to be grand.

We have lost college football at the altar of the almighty dollar and greed. I, for one, truly mourn this loss and that my kids and future generations will never get to experience college football in all its glory the way we were able to.

Don't even care. Has nothing to do with wins and loses. Just give us a schedule each year and we will play it.

I’ve been a part of 6 wins since I started legit watching in 2001. Hasn’t been great on my end.

Been watching since 1980. Don't care who we play never have. There has never been a team I felt that the season wouldn't be the same without them on the schedule and that includes Bama and UGA. UF and UT were huge games until the conference split into the divisions. But frick the NCAA, SEC for bullshitting around with Auburn for years and years. It was 1998 before Alabama made the trek across the state to even play us. We used to only play our home games against Tennessee as well at Legion field. So frick all of them is my opinion. Don't care. Like I said make the damn schedule and we will play no matter who or where it's always been that way.

frick that. We've been on the shitty end of the rivalry for too long, but it's only made me hate the mutts more. Line then up every season.

Cool. With our present situation we have no chance to win against Georgia anyway.

Would not like it at all. The rivalries are what make it good.

Drop all rivalries and let’s just rotate everyone.

And here I was thinking I was in the minority with this belief

THIS! X1000! Why should we be the only SEC team that has to play bama and uga every year? That ain't balance. I don't care how long the rivalries have been played. This is a new dawn.

Where have you been lately? Bama/Tennessee and Aub/UGA haven't been rivalries in a long time...they've mostly just been arse-kickings.

Is it bad that I am starting to root for the entire CFB system to fall apart?

I have zero care, but I've lost pretty much all interest in college sports (all sports actually) over the last several years.

I've discovered how stupid people look when they get to involved in sports, especially on message boards.

It's ridiculous.

frick that. DSOR is one of the best things about SEC football. Oldest rivalry there is. We’ve been on the short end of the stick for a good while here, but no one wants to give up that game. We ain’t scared of those ball licking leg humping retards.

You should be. No way Auburn wins any of the next 5 football games vs UGA.

Play better and if we dont get them in the SECCG then it's on them.

No need for our schedule to be tougher every year just because.

Living in NC for the past 12 years has been eye opening. I even hear less about duke/unc than i used to hear about auburn/bama football. It consumes people back home.
