And that’s against a higher classification competition as well. Moody is 5A Pell City is 6A.

Davion needs to be close to home as well. It would better for his well being. Not a bad home life but a strange one. I will leave it at that.

That’s a big night. Maybe he can keep it up.

Dozier gets Sylacauga I think next week so possibly a big night for him next week as well.

I saw Auburn got up by two touchdowns. Held on 17-14 versus Hoover. Huge game. Hard to understand the Auburn High School football success being a 90's grad. I was a starting guard in 6A football at 160 pounds. I'd like to talk up my accomplishments. There weren't any. We were 6-4 and didn't make the playoffs. Now Auburn is the best in the state. I graduated with professors sons and daughters and not gifted athletes. What is going on?

Recruiting
Agree. I don't know if you've been down there but there's a huge apartment complex right across the street from the new AHS. It just ruins the whole thing for me. I didn't like it, but it made sense that Central used to beat our arse. Seriously, there is not much to like in HS and College football.

Top 5 coach in the state as well. Keith Etheredge is a fantastic coach.

Recruiter. Paid well for sure. I think my OL coach made $37k with his coaching and drivers ed stipend. I don't know how I feel about it.

He won at Leeds with no money and no recruiting. They were horrible when he took over and won 2 or 3 state championships. To Pell City for a year then to Oxford for 2 years won a state championship his second season and now in his 2nd or 3rd season at Auburn. The years are flying by when you get old. But yes all the 7A school recruit some. Nothing crazy like back when Clark was at Prattville and Propst at Hoover.

I don't know man. Its my own school but he gets that OL and family from Oxford to transfer. A couple of others too and he's not recruiting? It helps AHS has 2500 kids in the high school system. We had 950 when I graduated. Not a big deal but if it looks like a spade...

I said recruiting. You have to recruit at the 7A level.

I was just saying he didn’t recruit at Leeds and still won multiple state championships

It doesn't hurt that Auburn is the largest school in the state.

Dozier I know they no one gives a shite about but is balling out again tonight 3 TDs. Probably 160ish yards. Moody up 51-17 in the 3rd Qtr.

Offer Davion Dozier now!! Flip him from Arky

Kavion “Bear” Henderson also had another solid night. Hopefully we can get him on campus and solidify our lead. Kids just reminds me of Colby Wooden. ‘24 kid

AHS repeated their performance @Enterprise that they did with Hoover. Meaning they got up by a few scores, gave up a couple of scores and won 31-21. They need to fix that.

They were up 24-7, gave up two explosive plays to make it 24-21. Then went on an 8+ minute TD drive to seal the game.
