Has Auburn had a better non-football fortnight in athletics, ever?

MBB team beats UK, gets ranked #1, survives the *SI cover curse.

WBB team beats #4 UT

Gymnastics beats bama.

AU Hockey wins Iron Bowl on ice.

And oh yeah, Coach Pearl's contract is locked down.

* self inflicted SI cover. Still counts. Sorta.

Late 90s we had a run of World Series and Mens Basketball.

Auburn swimming had a few national titles sprinkled in about that time too.

But over a short period of time and with so many different sports, I’m trying to remember if it’s ever been this widespread.

Oh yeah, don’t forget the horsies. Got some national titles riding those as well.

That was a graphic Auburn recreated for themselves.

SI doesn’t publish a magazine anymore.

Shows how little I follow SI.

Last I heard they were putting large chicks in their swimsuit issues, and they might as well be putting trans women on there too.

Is Sports Illustrated still an actual magazine you can purchase? I did see a Rolling Stone a year or so ago and had to chuckle because I barely recognized it - it was literally half the size it used to be.

Sure but that doesn’t make the last two weeks any less enjoyable or exciting

Fortnight, probably night. Odd term to use btw.

But 2003 you had the sweet 16 run, beat Bama in football, mens and womens swimming won national titles, etc.

I'm not sure you know what a fortnight is.
