Side note- do you ever watch @marlingbaits on Youtube? Guy builds some one-off baits and he's entertaining to watch.

No but I will check it out today. Probably be working the YouTube hard today while I work.

Yep. Zero impact. Ha.

Definitely should do it. My dad has been wanting to do a similar trip forever with our 23 foot sea ray thru the company where there is a group of boats to do it but hasn’t had the chance. Our boat is “technically” large enough to make the trip but is the smallest they would allow which gives us a little bit of hesitation

Yea, mine is a 25 foot. Should be fine as long as the seas stay under 2-3 foot. Just don’t want to bounce around for hours.

Still need a few pieces of equipment before we are ready but I’m hoping to cross this fall.

Going, you should be able to make the call about sea state. On the way back, I imagine, is where the trouble can happen.

In aviation, we call it get-home-itis. The pressure to get back, when the weather is questionable. Kills private pilots too often.

He's kinda funny and a little quirky, but easy to watch.

Yea. I agree. Of course I will try to go when a good block of weather is forecasted but that can change fast. Not a big issue for me but the wife will need to get back to work. Will be a gamble as everything is.

Any FFB players here? I'm in a 1 person keeper league. Can keep 1 guy for a max of 2 years at a cost of 1 round. I also have the #1 pick this year. Got to decide between

Jamar Chase 4th round (kept last year)
Devonta Smith 7th round
Kenneth Walker 8th round

They were all productive, but I think Chase would be my pick with Burrow throwing to him.

I mean if it comes down to it you could always get her a flight to return or is that not an option?

Yea, I can do that if needed. I will watch it daily and if something pops up, we will just pack it in and head back west. I think we will be OK.

Yeah the apps are good for weather windows. Just like in sailing but the good part is you aren't sailing.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship

The mate was a mighty sailing gal
The skipper brave and sure
two passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour

The weather started getting rough
The tiny ship was tossed
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost

The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Skippers wife
The Skipper too
The seagulls and their brood
The fishing bait
And The Rest
Here on Lanierspots Isle

I will base a new tv sitcom based on your trip. We will make millions Lanier

I think it's a cool trip and makes me a wee bit envious.

'That actually doesnt sound bad. If we end up shipwrecked, make it somewhere near the Turks.
