I'd trade both our starters for this backup.

2014 against backup TAMU freshman QB Kyle Allen still haunts me.

Well…. That game in general but still.

I still remember the dude from Arkansas lighting us up after Ryan Mallet went down in 2010.

If it makes everyone feel better he was the best passer in Arkansas history statistically.

Just saw that Gus lost 51-23 to Kansas right after signing an extension.

After watching offensive coaches shore up the backup position its hard to justify injury excuses anymore. Coaches can sign HS and portal kids. One or another has to get the job done.

The offensive minded coaches get this. I dont know why Gus never got it.

LSU: NUSS
OLE Miss: Spencer Sanders and Walker Howard
A&M: Johnson
Uga: Vandergriff (he could start for us)
Bama is the only strong team with a weak room and their weak room has been widely discussed.
Missouri brought in a transfer from Miami to go with last year's backup.

Even State has a backup that once started at Vandy and will take over for Rogers now that Rogers is hurt.

Kiffin being able to grab Sanders to solidify his backup plan only strengthens my position on this. Many teams would want to start Sanders yet Kiffin gets him to sit.

I thought we would have a chance at landing him. Maybe we go after him at the end of this year.

I know that dude came out slinging it in JHS that night. I think we would have been better against Mallet.

Out for season?
I saw the play. He was smushed.

Guy drove his full weight on him.

Thank goodness for Bynes dropping back deep on a couple of those middle throws. I think he snagged one to clinch the win.

That year was so much fun. And so long ago.

Seeing that more and more in college and in the pros. I am all for a physical game but some of that is just bad for the game overall

UGA has a bad tendency to do that

I thought in the NFL they were not allowing the defender to leave their feet with QB in grasp.

I know it’s a physical game, but some of it is over the top.
