I keep trying to convince myself that these first 2 games were all part of Gus's master plan and we are going to look like a whole different team..

Brandon Cox threw 4 in his first game. And I was in the stands when he was booed off the field by 2 games later. Right before he went about 20-3 in his next 23 games.

I was in the stands in 1994 when Patrick Nix was booed against LSU and pulled out of the game and D Craig came in and was a dumpster fire. He led us to the remainder of a 20 game win streak and beat #1 Florida in the swamp with Spurrier right after that.

I remember the fans wanted Reggie Slack benched for a nobody in 1989 before he led us to a top 10 finish in and the biggest win in our history.

It's just a broken record and for no reason by tards that think they know more than the coaches.

Pretty sure Brandon Cox was running for his life in those games too. Kid got *pounded*.

JJ doesn't have that excuse.

We will look faster next week and the tempo may help our overall offense. It is my feeling and almost to our detriment Gus is waiting for LSU game.

Just my opinion and don't expect one person to agree with me.

Nope. That was against Georgia Tech. He fell apart in the 4th quarter and threw 3 ints on 3 straight drives and got us beat. I was at that game in Atl as well.

that Georgia Tech game was the beginning of a rough tenture for Cox as qb games againt K-State. USF. & Mississippi State in 07 were just as bad

I don't think Cox had a rough tenure at AU. I think he was pretty good.

Again, Brandon Cox got POUNDED in that game. GT had 3 sacks and had at least 3 times that many hits on the QB. Hugh Nall's OL was shite (again).

Not to mention Tommy Tuberville took it upon himself to only give Kenny Irons ONE rush in that game. Because Kenny "didn't know the protections". As if the RBs that were in the game knew "the protections" with Cox getting pounded for 4 quarters. And MIRACULOUSLY Irons "learned" the "protections" in ONE WEEK, getting 13 carries the next week vs. MSU.

JJ threw his under little pressure, right between the defenders numbers. Cox threw his running for his life.

Not comparable even a little bit.

The only thing I can figure is Sean White doesn't produce in practice. JJ has ZERO confidence. He's gotta be fricked in the head.

I've never heard anything bad about Sean White in practice before. Right now id take him not producing if he's not fricking up like JJ. We could be just fine with a game manager and being run first.

Gus must not think White knows the offense well enough is my guess.

Watch JJ's feet when he throws. He is not setting his feet and throwing the ball. You can tell he's nervous or scared back there. Even his TD throw to Ray was without his feet set. Really poor fundamentals and mechanics and really poor decision making.
