If they’re still cold, we better hope they morph into John Stockton.

2019 ball movement was a sight of beauty.

I bet if you go back and rewatch the season over you’d disagree the ball movement was better in 2019. Ball movement hasn’t been the issue with this team. Guard defense generally hasn’t been the issue. If Jaylin goes cold or isn’t doing anything inside it doesn’t open up anything for the guards. Last night we just didn’t hit shots. Ice fricking cold. If we just come close to our averages shooting we beat UK by 10. We held them 20 below their average

Granted guard play needs to improve as well.

Literally the same story as the previous loss before that.

I was encouraged that Aden Holloway took it to the bucket last night because that has been such a rare occurrence. It was one of his few highlights over the last couple months, but I feel like if he’ll work on his dribble drive a lot of things will free up for him. Defenders know he’s no threat to drive and so the cover him up on the 3 ball. I feel if he started taking it to the hoop he could get a lot more open looks and a lot more confidence.

Aden is really going through a lot, learning about himself as he plays against other athletes that probably been in college since 2019 like J-will. We just gotta hope he keeps his head down and pressing forward without going mental. We need him to be a baller next year and I am not giving up on him.

The difference between playing with/against 16-18 year old boys and 21-24 year old men is an adjustment.

I hope he will stay. He has talent. Just needs some shots to fall.

I'm sure Jaylin comes back by the March 9th Georgia game but limited though.
