I love the hire. Absolutely love his offensive knowledge. Tennessee wasn’t the same when he left until this year.

The turn around he has pulled off at USF is nothing short of miraculous. And a 3000 yard passer and 1000 yard rusher? Yes please. With stats anywhere close to that out of our QB and we are looking at a 4th Heisman and 3rd real championship.

Basically said Lane doesn't care about anyone but Lane.

I hear what you're saying, but that may be a little harsh. There are other coaches who are just as selfish as Lane, they just haven't shown it as much. Granted, playoffs are different from bowl games, but Sumrall and Golesh are both walking out on their teams before the end of the year.

Saban is right; the calendar is broken, but very fixable...move signing day back to February, finish the playoffs by about January 15th, move spring ball to early summer, and one transfer window after the end of the academic year. That alone should fix it, but I wouldn't be opposed to a rule that any coach who resigns while his team still has games to play would be ineligible to coach anywhere the following season.

Really hate I can only upvote him once

He is exactly what we need right now

Hard arse / dynamic coach who can get QB right

I would much rather have him than Sumrall - there is absolutely nothing dynamic about Sumrall - Fla will look like a mix of KY, Troy and Tulane

My opinion of him just shot to the stratosphere with the decision to retain Durkin.
