Going for it on fourth down

It was the perfect situation.
Up 4 scores. Defense playing great. Offense moving the ball at will.
Terrible field position for them if we did not make it. Great play call and execution.
The LSU game, wrong situation. Not enough time to get ball back if we don't make it. Only up 2.

few things more disrespectful than running your white QB in for a TD on 4th down up 28-3

I sure didn't mind it. In all honesty, I kind of wanted to see them stop us on the one, get the ball back, and we get a safety on the first play. But the way it turned out was just fine by me.

He might've been fired on the spot if he didn't go for it then

Coaches should have a sheet for going on 4th down and going for 2.
The time matters. The falcons lost yesterday's game because Quinn gave them a short field.

Quinn made the right call too. His defense wasn't stopping shite and if he punted the ball to the Chargers, all they had to do was get in FG range.
It's much more likely that one of the best offenses in the league can get 1 or 2 yards than the Falcons keeping Rivers out of FG range.
Just because the decision doesn't work out, doesn't mean it was the wrong decision.

I think there are times to go for it, on fourth down.
The benefits should outweigh the risks.
I thought the falcons should have punted.
