"They had a little bit of help on that review where the ball was incomplete," Elliott said. "It should have been put back on the 30-yard line. But you know when you play in the SEC you gotta take the hits. And they gave us a real gut punch on that call. So we appreciate that."

That was a blown call. But they got extremely fortunate reffing the entire other remainder of the game, so I'm not sure what his point is.

They got called for 2 penalties all game. I don’t want to hear it.
Yes the call was wrong, but you put yourself in that position.

We were helped by a questionable play call and also a “blade of grass.”
Nevertheless, we won.

Game would've been different if that "incorrect call" from the head of NCAA officiating from last week was reversed. McClain would be in, hell we might have kept PSU out of the end zone then too.

Pac12 after dark last night between Oregon and Arizona had a questionable targeting penalty overturned because the receiver lowered his head essentially creating the targeting penalty. That should be the correct call every time. So far all we have seen is targeting being confirmed by subjective and capricious bias.

I love how the rant is melting down about that call like it cost them the game. It was a first down for a gain of like 12 yards. It's not like if they overturn the call Georgia State was getting the ball to go in victory formation or it put points on the board for Auburn.
