Listening to AU radio, Q says the hold was the fault of Trovon Reed missing his block. Gustav yanked him immediately and chewed his arse good.

No. True freshman, no.
I remember when D Craig came in some when Nix struggled early in 1994 and even D Craig looked terrible throwing back then. I do not see JJ doing any better at this point. Nick's problems appear to be because he has not settled down or in at all. Would probably be the same with JJ.

I thought we would see a lot more downhill running and read option with NM keeping the ball. Offensive play calling has been interesting to say the least.

Most of our team sucks. Only a couple bright spots. Gonna be a year like last year I'm afraid. Maybe a few years of consistency will help.
