We fired Gus

Gus had a winning record against an all SEC schedule, in a year that was as bizarre as they come.

Gus wasn’t going to coach at Auburn till he retired but firing him in the Covid year with an AD in disarray and no (good) plan for his replacement was moronic. Harsin was a significant downgrade over Gus, Freeze is at best a push. Auburn made a rash decision and will pay for it for a while.

I actually have reviewed the film and I 100% agree with this statement, it is factual and proven... The bad call was starting Payton at QB...

This is the worst stretch for Auburn football in anyone’s lifetime; if there’s a time to be melting down, it’s now.

You obviously speak as someone who is not old enough to remember the Doug Barfield era.

i’m old enough

this is worse because in the Barfield era we were expected to be mediocre

plus we paid him annually about what Freezus earns every 4 days

Someone needs to remind Freeze that excuses are like Assholes.

I've watched lots of film from Saturday, PT constantly, just like last year stopped looking for open receivers and just sets his target on one player and doesn't scan the field. It's like as soon as he gets pressure on him he mentally shuts down.

And if all you did was look at the headline and not listen to the rest of this talk you are missing context.

He’s not off to a good start. But giving up on Freeze 15 games into it is silly. You sound like a jilted 15- yr old high school girl.

He’ll bench Throne, Hankster the Gangster will become a folk legend, and we’re back on paved road.

You guys said the same thing when Harsin started to go south.

I’m not calling for his head, but I just don’t have any confidence in him.

I really hope you are right and I am wrong.
