Deep down they probably didn't mind Freeze but I seriously doubt that.

That’s why for as bad a feelings as I have towards the scumbag, I’m not calling for his head. Another coach firing now would be a program death sentence. It’s a big crap sandwich and we have to eat it and smile.
Really, I think the PTB would have hired Hugh in 2020 if they could have, but he still had way too much stank on him.

I don’t care if you play as bad as Thorne did on Saturday, for the coach to come out blaming players, I just have no use for a scumbag like that. He recruited and brought in a lot of these guys.
You can think it, it can be right, but for the coach to call them out in the press to deflect blame, well, scumbag.

Yeah, only taking blame for one play call in that game is pretty pathetic. Just a horrible look.

He’s been successful everywhere he’s been. I can’t imagine Auburn gets these coaches and they forget how to do what they do when they get here. I just don’t get it. I’ll give him some time before calling for a new coach, but man Auburn should be seeing some sort of improvement.

I’m pretty sure Thorne can take the criticism. He’s getting paid. He can take some heat. You’re acting like Freeze committed a crime
Calling plays isn’t Freeze only duty. He also has the duty to get players to execute. So also his fault if Thorne doesn’t execute. Like I said earlier. Yall just get hungry for blood.

He’s not an elite coach, but he turned around a terrible Ole Miss program. He made Liberty into a 10 win program that beat Arkansas. He’s also recruiting at the highest level Auburn has ever experienced.
I think the biggest issue is Thorne. Some of those screenshots show we had open receivers. Thorne just missed them or threw a terrible pass.

The recruiting looks good for now but a losing record will shake up the top talent we currently have and top talent coming in. There’s a good chance that we fail to make a bowl game and that will most certainly hurt recruiting.

We’ve only won 43% of our games this decade and based on Saturday, it doesn’t look to be getting better. This is the worst stretch for Auburn football in anyone’s lifetime; if there’s a time to be melting down, it’s now.

One was coaching at shite program old piss. And the other was coaching at a top 13 all time program that has beaten uat several times (but is now a shite program).

Freeze is either trying to light a fire under Thornes arse or let him know that he is on a short rope. Also sends a message to Brown to be ready. He didn’t name a player but we all know who lost the game and so does the locker room. I would bet a majority of the players are more pissed at Thorne than the keyboard warriors of the AU message board. …

These kids are getting paid a shite ton of money now. They asked for the smoke. Next, I can’t wait for them to have contracts with the school so shite players like PT can get cut.
