Would you prefer we secured like 7-10 3* like the Tony Franklin era?

Last year the recruiting thread was lit and now nobody gives af

Freeze better not be seeking protection from a cancer diagnosis. He created these circumstances when he decided not to coach his first year so that he could recruit. Well year three is pay up time.

I remember him signing all these 3* star players and people pumping it like he was hitting home runs because we had all these commitments lol now we have classes full of 4* and some 5* guys. Hope the results show up for the first time this year

C’mon, jang …… that’s not exactly sporting when there has been zero evidence of freeze doing what you’re suggesting.

I agree with you that freeze must demonstrate meaningful results in 2025, but leave the rest out of it. I think 9 wins is the minimum threshold that freeze must reach this year ….. what say you?

Freeze wasn't a good hire, but he was the hire the money guys wanted. It's going to take another losing season to actually land him on any hot seat that matters. I think his ceiling is 8 wins this year, mostly because the schedule is favorable.

He has Auburn backed up against a wall after demanding patience until year three. Well here we are and patience is worn thin for his woe is me.

Three years is in no way too much to ask …. and let’s remember, Auburn was backed up against the wall before HF landed on the Plains

It's the way he went through the first two years. Woe is me my roster sucks, just gotta recruit so look away. We gave him his years. Now its put up time.

Lots of past SEC hires recruit well in their first 2-3 classes. It falls off quickly if you don't start producing on the field.

The turnovers are what kept Freeze from 9 wins and a top 3 class last season. My only hesitation about this season is Arnold has been known to turn the ball over too.

Freeze's offenses have been known to turn the ball over. Proof is in the pudding

I get that last year's BCW was in July but there was no build-up to BCW this year.

The Final 4 took the hype away or gratuitously overshadowed the lackluster BCW. Take your pick.

Jones is hiding to make matters worse.

I agree he'd better dig his head at least partially out of his arse and produce results this year. Realistically 8 wins, 7 and a damn bowl game win for sure. I also haven't lost sight of how atrocious our roster was when he got here. The complete lack of OL recruiting and development for a decade essentially made 2 great RBs look pedestrian. We absolutely wasted Tank and Hunter, they still did well above average even when the entire viewing audience knew they were getting the ball. We couldn't pass the ball well enough, or consistently enough to keep anyone honest on D. He HAS to win every game he is supposed to win. Vandy, Arkansas, New Mexico fricking State. He does that for once he will stay off the hot seat. Just my 2 cents.

To be fair I think NIL has taken some of the giving a shite this early away. Kids can change their minds when a better offer comes in, even as they are lowering the pen to paper on signing day
