Recruiting has been Hugh's only redeeming quality, imo.

It was, we don't even have that anymore.

I watched Thompson's QB last night. He has it. Whatever it is. Slightly under sized, but the kid can play QB.

Is that the kid that won the state championship game as like an 8th grader a couple years ago?

His recruiting class isn't good enough to save him. We need to figure out how to keep the defensive players though.

I remember being 15 and dumb enough to want us not to fire Terry Bowden so we could get Latrez Harrison.

Womack should talk to some of our players about what it's like playing for Freeze if he can't figure it out for himself. Durkin is who he should be excited to play for.

The way things are today, odds are he will transfer at some point anyway. No high school player is worth keeping Freeze

JLee and Pink spoke about this after talking with him and the dad.

Womack talks as if he is a player now on the defense, just REALLY REALLY frustrated in watching the defense hold up, only to watch the offense piss it away.

Im sure his father is looking at this and thinking if Freeze goes its a feeding frenzy in the portal and it could be a really tough situation for a freshman class to walk into.

Freeze has to go at some point, and transfers will happen. What if the new coach bring in new players and commits that are better? Wishful thinking I know

Poker Dough,

On the good side, if a lot of players leave, it frees up a boatload of NIL to replace them.....and some probably need a HUGE haircut on their current pay, or look somewhere else. Guys like Phillips and Riddick paying a lot of money for them to sit on the sidelines and paint their nails.

Its a business and I think that is one of the problems with this team, many want the money.....and to be treated with "kid" gloves those days are over. Coleman has one job, catch the friggin ball, and he repeatedly drops ones right in his hands. We dont need highlight reel catches, we need touchdowns, he is not being paid a fortune to drop balls.

If we fire Freeze, I will trust whatever decisions the new coach makes until I have reasons not to. We make the kind of hire we should make, our current players will want to stay and play for him, and new ones may want to too. Unfortunately, those aren't the kind of hires Auburn makes.

He drops balls in games/seasons where he should be targeted 2x what he has been. You can’t expect someone to get into a groove when we’ve got this dumbass at the helm. He will transfer elsewhere and play in meaningful games. It has become the norm at this point.
