Well they didn't really recruit that much once Hugh was gone, very stagnant imo, unlike what it looks like LSU and Florida did. I dunno how we fumbled recruiting that badly, feels almost like complete sabotage

Kelvin Perkins QB out of Southwind here in Memphis would be a good player in the QB room. Not a starter- but a good one to have as depth or practice squad. I know we don’t have many spots to offer.
He is a 3 star- but two time Mr. QB finalist and has a winner mentality. Tough kid.

Definitely seems like a situation where he jumped to secure a spot somewhere else, knowing that AU would be there depending on how things shake out staff wise. Not that other teams wouldn't keep a spot open for him regardless, but probably a prudent move on his part.
