Some damn good film for Burgess. No chance he stays a 3 star.

Yea, would have to think he rises quite a lot. Similar to Bama's QB last year who started out as a 3*.

I don't think he rises that far, but he should be a very solid 4* by the end of the cycle.

He has a very high ceiling, but a low floor. I’m fine with taking him in this cycle as I expect deuce to be a 3 year starter after Arnold.

Absolutely. Perfect kind of kid to take for this class. Seems to be a pretty popular kid in the class as well, which can definitely help with the player recruiting front. Would love for him to go ahead and hop on board.

I hope Deuce is only a 2 year starter, because he’s that good.

Big Cat went really well last year in late July.
Why do we keep flip-flopping months?

Any Big Cat news that is worth a damn?

July is a dead period now. It’s the NCAA that keeps flip flopping months.

Yeah. June 23-July 31 is a dead period. Last year there was like one weekend at the end of the month that you could have kids on campus

August has been a dead period in recent years. Guessing they’ll give coaches a quiet period during that month to have kids on campus again before Fall

Curious to see if he stays inside. 6-5 and moves really well.

He's definitely getting a bump in my opinion. In the Gus era this guy would have gone to Mizzou or Ole Miss. Lol Good pickup

Ive always thought highly of Rivers for that. The story was that Tubs got to his game late and they were already up by several, several points and Rivers had been taken out of the game.

His high school coach wanted to put him in to sling it for Tubs and Rivers said no it wasnt the right thing to do.

I dont know if Tubs got ticked, or just thought there were better prospects, ifs and buts.....

Tubbs passed on him as a QB BUT Bama passed on him completely yet we take the most heat. I believe Tommy wanted him to play another position so he went to NC State. Remember both schools had super talented young QBs at the time (Jason and Brodie) We also skipped on Jamarcus Russell because of Jason. In the end we had the undefeated season that Jamarcus and Rivers never had. Russell was a bust, Rivers is headed to Canton, and Jason was a solid nearly 10 year veteran. Hope we can sign his son.
