Maybe Joey Freshwater will be the next coach we steal from Ole Miss?

I dont care who it is. If I have to watch this idiot roll out our stupid QB another year, I will lose it.

He didn't play QB before he came to Auburn, and never played that position again after he left Auburn.
Nick Marshall was a phenomenal QB in HS and also played QB in Juco. Let’s not overlook that.

At Auburn, he was an athlete playing QB, just like in HS and Juco.

I told y’all this at the beginning of the season, we are stuck with him because of the virus and budget hits.

If USCe can pay 12 MM to can WM, we can pony up 20 for Gus.

Money should never be a reason to NOT fire a shitty coach...especially after 7 years into his tenure.

What position did he play at UGA?

You’re moving the goal posts now.

No. I'm just pointing out that at the big boy level of football, Marshall was not considered a QB. If you want to use 8 y/o, Pee Wee Football as a rebuttal, then I guess that's your prerogative, but the fact remains that Marshall was not recruited as a QB out of HS. UGA had him as a DB, and when he left Auburn for the next level, he went back to being a DB.

Gus has never developed a QB. Marshall was custom made for the office that we ran, at the time. In my opinion, no one ran the read-option better than him. But Gus had nothing to do with developing him as a QB.

He broke the passing records in the state of Georgia in High School at Wilcox County. He threw for over 5,000 yards as a junior and senior.

SEC isn’t big boy level football?

lol

They also recruited Cam Newton as a tight end. Clearly they know what they’re doing.

Who said he had?
