How did J’Von go from shooting 61% free throws to 33% over the summer?

He’s 5-19 (26%) on the Season. 2-10 in his last 2 games. Just crazy he’s shooting so bad at the free throw line.

Know it doesn't amount to much right now, but look at where we find ourselves in RPI.
Sadly it doesn't matter at all anymore. The NCAA committee no longer looks at the RPI. Still waiting for the 1st 2019 NET rankings to come out. That's the one that matters. Good news is the 1st NET rankings of the season finally comes out tomorrow/later today. Ohio St. is projected to be #1.

Cause we had lost 9 regular season games and only had 2-3 good wins after the SEC tourney

We were in the final four. That means nothing at all? A team that lost to us in the SEC tourney, and eliminated earlier in the NCAA tournament is ranked higher.

For the same reason we finished #11 in KenPom. These aren't power rankings but analytics rankings judging the entire seasom worth of games

Analytics looks at the numbers and we often played down to competition and even lost some games we shouldn't have.

No, not for NET rankings. It's just a computer plugging in game results not where you finished in tournament

A team could theoretically win the championship and finish with a NET ranking of #353

All 4 NCAA tourney wins were good wins. New Mexico state finished #46 in the NET and that is still a quad one win in a neutral site. And We finished the season after the SEC tournament & before the NCAA tournament 18th. Our run in the NCAA tournament moved us up five spots in the final NET of last season.

Which sounds about right. A 4-1 stretch in the NCAA tournament against good teams certainly moves the needle but certainly doesn’t break the needle at the end of a full season of data

Well anyway. We are the abnormality. The NCAA can point to 3 final four teams being within top ten, but they cannot deny that Auburn was not yet took many good teams out. One that finished ranked higher and beat them twice.

Those teams started ahead of us then also beat top programs too. It only makes sense they would end ahead of us.

Keep in mind Texas Tech had a much better run in the tournament than we did

MSU was around top 5 then made a final 4 run

UVA I believe was #1 or close to it then won it all
