My takeaways:
Overall, he seems to think the secondary is coming along well and has playmakers.
He didn't talk a lot about the Dline, but he doesn't seem disatisfied with it. Carl and Daniels have the physical tools, but have to learn the defense.
My impression is really a lot of concern by him over the LBs. I know that is his position so he is going to be more outspoken, but I do not get the impression he is convinced we have what we need to get the job done there right now and have a long way to go in that area in particular.

...just haven't gotten around to it yet. Although, I've let my frustration out on Jake Holland e-style already today, and maybe I'll get around to it some more tomorrow.

I think our DBs will be drastically improved and while not top of the league, I don't think very many people will want to screw with them. Still think there will be coverage busts (wouldn't be AU without them) but consistently better and some INTs for a change
I think our DT play is drastically improved and we see moderate push on run (compared to 0 push last year) and few sacks here and there on passing downs. At DE, I find it hard to believe we are going to find success. I think Dee Ford can be an 8-9 sack guy and reasonable at best at run defense. Opposite him, I doubt we see 5 sacks total from that DE position. I see DE being weak
LB- I think they are going to be remarkably average. I mean if Jake Holland can make a tackle for a change, I don't see the LBs being horrible

He's one of my favorite players, and I'd love to see him start over Jake Holland any day of the week and twice on Saturdays.

I was just pointing out your obsession with him. It would be easy for somebody to mistake that obsession for you thinking he would be dominant. I don't really see why this is ruffling your feathers though.

It scares me that we have 3 LBs that have been on campus for over a year and in college systems plus another JUCO transfer that is extremely athletic and we can't even get 2 of them to be reasonable. Not great just reasonable and get the job done
