I don't think any qb can fit that role. With that said TB and KF had the same role their freshman seasons at the goal line. It's just an opinion

Have to disagree. JJ played in the best league in Alabama and put up crazy good stats not to mention he lit up every camp he attended.

Senior 198-293 3198 .676 31 7
Junior 198-328 2380 .604 22 14
Sophomore 187-290 2707 .645 26 12

He also made Rueban Foster look non existent last year during the Carver Auburn game lol

It's fine to be pumped and promote JJ but don't use the classification when comparing to Sean White. Florida football in most classifications is better than anything in Alabama. Bigger classes does not mean better in Florida as it does in Alabama. There are top 100 schools in the nation from almost every classification in Florida. For example, Sean White's new School University High which is class 4A in Florida, is in the preseason top 40 in every national poll and top 25 in most.

I wasn't saying Bama's classification is better than Florida's classification. I was saying that JJ put those numbers up against Alabama's best. Not white private school scrubs ala KF

It is easy to play away from players in high school, when going against a team like Bama this year, Foster probably won't even be good enough to see the field so he can't just neutralize one guy

HS competition, defensive schemes and pressure are way different than CFB

JJ played better competition in 6A Alabama than White did for Chaminade in 3A Florida IMO. His new school is a much bigger upgrade in terms of its talent and the talent he will play against though.

I'm still higher on JJ, especially since he's apparently looking extremely good already in camp.

His point was in a game with D1 caliber athletes everywhere (Johnson, Foster, Evans, Echols-Luper, Hamilton, etc), Johnson looked like a man amongst boys

Yeah, It is interesting to me how many are so easy to write off JJ and claim White the heir apparent simply because JJ is a Dual Threat and has to be like the other failures...

I just really like White. It has more to do with the potential I see in White than JJ's deficiencies.

Yeah, I am a Laker man. So Iverson wasn't one I liked. Is that reference to him not liking to practice? And am I referring to the correct Iverson?

According to the Rivals guys:

- Marshall and Johnson are trending up and are 1 and 2 respectively. Next is Frazier trending down, then Wallace.
-Young is the leader at RT and is trending up.
-Holland is leading at MLB and trending up, with Frost trending down. McKinzy is leading at WLB and trending up.
- Holsey leads at boundary safety and trending up.
- Blackson and Bradley are 1 and 2 and trending up. Next are Whitaker and Wright holding steady. Then Monty trending up.

Some interesting notes also:
quote:

Kiehl Frazier was the hot topic during the first five days or so, showing refined mechanics and improved accuracy. Observers told us that the scrimmage, though, belonged to Nick Marshall and Jeremy Johnson
quote:

The one to watch, though, is Adams. The freshman has been turning heads during one-on-one drills against the offensive line. He's winning more confrontations than expected, though he's still extremely raw in terms of technique.
quote:

We're hearing that Holland has moved ahead of Kris Frost in the battle at middle linebacker. McKinzy always brings physicality and rage, but observers say he's finally getting out of some bad habits

So help me God, if I have to watch Jake Holland flopping around on the field again this season...I will just lose it.

I disagree. Look at their schedules. Carver played 3 quality teams in Auburn, Central, and Opelika. None were in the end season top 100 in the nation. The rest of region 3 sucked. Chamanade played 2 teams in the end season top 40 in the nation including Sean's new team University (won state title), who was actually 3A last year along with Chimanade...And American Heritage
