@ClowESPN Barring a late snag, it looks like LSU defensive coordinator Kevin Steele is headed to Auburn for the same position

I regret saying Roof would be an average hire. He would be a homerun compared to the has been that is Kevin Steele

So the guy who wasn't good enough for Bama, wasn't good enough for Clemson, coached the worst UA LB unit during Saban's tenure and then wasn't good enough at LSU is our leading choice?

When's our next basketball game?

I'd rather get rid of him one year early than late.

If this is true then it's pathetic.

We should fire everyone now.

Such a waste of time to go through another year of bullshite

I'm personally of the opinion that coaches are never given enough time in today's game, but I understand where you're coming from.

Look at who were losing on D. If I were Carl no way I would come back now.

The only positive is that Kevin Steele's reputation is being OCD and stickler for winning by fundamentals not necessarily scheme. Lord knows our D needs to figure out fundamentals

So we are making the same horrible hire LSU did last year yet we don't even get Coach O to make us feel better?

Who did you guys honestly expect? The fan base is ready to fire Gus next year if things don't pan out. Who would be jumping at that chance?

This is not the best hire, but it's not a horrible one either.

I agree, but it's just the way the culture of the game has changed. When it gets to the point of soccer, then it will be ridiculous. Are you familiar with how fast coaches can be canned in the top-flight European leageus? It's crazy.

Does Yaw Yaw come with him? If he did, the LSU melt would be glorious.

You're fricking stupid if you think this is anywhere near a decent hire. All of us were thrilled with muschamp. Most would have loved Kelly. Hell most we're on board with Allen. But kevin fricking Steele?! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
