He could be back in time for the bulk of the season, right? Think this is a medical redshirt scenario?

Just throw it to Ryan Davis every play and profit

I bet he will be able to play by Early October, usually a 6-8 month deal. Depends on the individual.

Hate that for Eli but filling his shoes running a jet sweep should be the most easily replaceable thing on our roster. He's ok at it but he's no OMac or Grant.

he also doesn't have the benefit of a Newton or Marshall in the backfield that defenders have to worry about either

This is very true, which makes it less of a threat anyway regardless of who is running it. I don't mean to take away from Eli and I hate that he got hurt, I'm just saying I think we can find someone to replace him without too much drop off.

Hate to hear that but it's a good thing we added 2 of the fastest high school prospects in the country in Schwartz and Shivers. One of them should be able to fill that role until Stove is back healthy again. Also Matthew Hill could get some of those carries though he doesn't necessarily have the elite straight line speed those guys do

We can always push Igbonogokneeknee back to WR in a pinch.
