If I had a dollar for every time I passed out waiting for Willie's or Brand X I'd have enough to cater in lunch from both of them for all of us.

Did you ever head out Opelika way to Rusty's Oyster Bar?

I think I ate there once or twice. I wasn't much of a seafood person until I moved to Pcola the first time in '85. Besides, I was broke most of the time I was in Auburn, so I always went for the cheap eats (James Brown's buffet on a Sunday...mmmm....)

I agree. BBQ in Auburn never impressed me. Findleys Italian Chicken sandwiches did. I enjoyed those a lot from 1999-2001!

Where does Bow & Arrow stack up

Byrons and Bow and Arrow are vastly different, wouldn't consider them direct competitors. Both are awesome.

Byrons is for good old boy bbq. Bow and Arrow is for people who like to be fancy.

student housing high-rises downtown are abandoned and left to rot 15 years down the road

They won't be. They'll fill and they'll stay full.

The problem will be all the former student housing along the south college corridor along with longleaf....that will all be low income housing in the future.
