prayers for your lost 50

slim chance Arnold gets to 3000. Only 5 Qbs were able to accomplish that milestone last year. 2600 - 2800 seems more realistic.

He needs to average about 284 per game the rest of the way.

Your memory still kind of sucks, we scored 70 once during Campbells 4 year career. In that game we had two passing touchdowns, one of 32 yards and one for 1 yard. We never even went over 60 at any other point during his career.

You are not getting the point. 52-7 is okay too. 60-7 or whatever I dont care. Just move the ball up and down the field.

Kinda irrelevant. If he threw a bomb that didnt score it was still a bomb that opened things up.

He had 180 yards passing averaging 13.8 yards per completion. You were wrong, it's okay. Your point is taken though and will be the difference between winning 7 or 8 games and fighting for a playoff spot. We have to expand the passing game both down the field and the middle of the field.

On 11 completions and 84% completion percentage. Thanks for pointing out shitty examples. Auburn and passing offense have been oil and water for as long as Ive paid attention. Is there a better passer that fits the bill? He had more TD passes than incompletions against Arkansas.

You could have just said this

Coleman was past two guys on one play and could have caught and walked in but he had to run back past the two guys to get the pass on one play.

It looks to me like Coleman was running a designed curl. There was a safety over the top of him. I don't think it was an improvised route, but it was kind of slow developing. Probably wont be able to run those slow developing routes against SEC D-lines.

The presser after the game was revealing. Freeze said he got greedy and called a couple of deep balls he shouldnt have. He said he thinks he caused a sack or two because Jackson was holding on the ball waiting for the play (that wasnt there) to develop.

He then said "other than those plays......and the one where Jackson and I both thought the receiver would run a shallower route, he would be 28 of 28."

So the ball to Simmons was not underthrown, it was Simmons who was supposed to watch the safety and make a decision to run a skinny post, instead he ran himself into double coverage and Jackson threw it short....where Simmons should have been.

its been two games. Also, we run the RPO game. its a quick attack scheme, not a drop back, sling it around offense.

And boy can Jackson run the RPO. That pass to Singleton for a TD, he is watching that DB, and soon as he sees him crash the line, he pulls it from Cobb, sees Singleton is wide open and just throws a high floating softball to be certain Singleton will catch it.

Ha no, you could have just said that instead of longing for a time that never existed although now you're acknowledging that so i can't keep up

You already admitted we scored in the 70s once. Youre just as wrong and Campbell hit deep bombs away quiet nicely. Just think back to that long flea flicker against Arky I dare you.

Your boy Jason Campbell had 58 career plays of 30+ yardage variety.

Does JA paint pictures with his balls?

Eric Singleton was opening himself open on a deep post route and if Arnold had one extra mississippi in the pocket would've been an easy 6 points.

I dont like dialing back on aggression talk. The play was drawn up great. Look at the great offenses recently. They were chewing up chunks of grass right down the field.

20 yard crossers
Slants
Flag Routes.

He is very mature running the RPO. I would be a nervous wreck if he was collecting a bunch of big hits. His slides on turf grass just keeps sliding.

Disagree. Pass pro was decent EXCEPT for those plays where JA held the ball too long of which there were *plenty*.

Cole and McElroy were criticizing the pass protection this morning and I am like you, I didn’t think it was that bad.

The early sack or two it was really bad, that wasn't on JA. Murphy got abused on one play, the fumble we recovered. I think Wade was the other. Those two early sacks were realy bad pass protection. One would have been a TD if JA had another second or two as Singleton was about to come across the middle and be wide open.
